I’m Isabelle!

I’m an enthusiastic student who is passionate about audio and aspires to work in the world of immersive sound.

My Most Recent Project!

This project involves working with a team of fellow students to recreate a scene from the movie WALL-E from scratch. We recorded all of our own Foley sounds and dialogue. My responsibilities include composing the musical score, voicing WALL-E, assisting with audio post-production, and serving as the lead Foley artist.

Collaborative

Teamwork is one of my core values. I believe the best results come from collaborating in a supportive, innovative environment where every team member’s ideas are valued. As a leader, I prioritize creating a space where everyone feels heard, and I thrive in team settings—especially when brainstorming and exchanging ideas to spark creativity and drive progress.

My Approach

Creative

I approach everything with a creative mindset, from communication to problem-solving and work. Growing up in an artistic family, I’ve always seen creativity as fundamental. As an audio engineer, I view sound as an art form, using it to paint a picture and express creativity in ways that are often underrated.

Projects and Experience

SFSU AES

As a main council member of San Francisco State University's chapter of the Audio Engineering Society, it is my duty to facilitate and plan meetings. I contact industry professionals from organizations like the Women’s Audio Mission to speak at our meetings and offer advice to aspiring audio engineers.

A collection of pictures and videos from various A2 gigs with the Local 16 Stagehand Union, Four Ohm Productions, volunteer work at the historic 924 Gilman, and local underground shows.

Recording Bands at SFSU

Using the state-of-the-art recording studio at SFSU, a group of audio students and I have been recording local bands to enhance our recording skills.

Novus Moon Band

I am the singer and songwriter for the band Novus Moon! We are an experimental Shoegaze band with influences such as Radiohead, The Smashing Pumpkins, Whirr, and Slowdive.

Other Fun Projects!

This is a collection of creative projects I've been involved in that don’t necessarily relate to audio. I have skills in makeup artistry and acting as well.
